On a sunny, very warm July 13 at Trout Lake Park in Vancouver workers gathered to discuss some of the biggest issues facing humanity. Talks included “Palestine and the Roots of Zionist Apartheid”, presented by SA federal secretary Barry Weisleder, and “Issues in the Upcoming B.C. election” with leading BC SA members Ellen Ramsay, discussing housing unaffordability, and Stephen Crozier speaking on the global environmental crisis. Between food, drinks and lively dialog, participants enjoyed the display of SA booklets, buttons, leaflets, stickers and more.A similar meeting is set for July 17 in Victoria, the provincial capital, on Vancouver Island.
