Members of Socialist Action at Kurdish workers’ celebration of International Women’s Day

At the invitation of Kurdish leftist groups in Toronto, Socialist Action celebrated International Women’s Day at a dinner and dance they hosted on March 10 in Scarborough.

Speaking on behalf of Socialist Action, Toronto SA leader Rubina Chowdhury addressed the importance of the struggle for women’s liberation and socialism.  She highlighted the valiant efforts of the women of Palestine to resist the Zionist genocide and to end the Occupation which began more than 75 years ago.
