Thousands rallied locally on January 28 at Liberal MP offices across Canada to demand that Ottawa abide by the provisional ruling of the International Court of Justice concerning the case against genocide, and immediately halt the sale and shipment of weapons to the apartheid Zionist state.
Hundreds gathered and marched in west-central Toronto, ending their demonstration at the Bloor Street West storefront of Liberal MP Arif Virani.
Socialist Action members joined the boisterous crowd in chanting “End the Siege, Stop Arming Israel” and “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be Free!”, and by selling scores of the very popular button “End the Occupation – Free Palestine.”
