Greek Socialist Speaks about anti-austerity fight

Special guest: Michael Skourtis

Based in Athens, Michael is a leader of OKDE-Spartakos (Organization of Communist Internationalists in Greece), Greek section of the Fourth International, and of ANTARSYA, the revolutionary electoral coalition. He is editor of the OKDE magazine Spartakos, an organizer of the annual Athens anti-racism festival, and is involved in the 'social kitchens' of the Athens anti-poverty movement. For weeks in 2011 he participated in the Occupation of Syntagma (parliament) Square. Michael will discuss the post-June 17 election situation, workers' resistance to the capitalist austerity drive, and opposition to the fascist Golden Dawn party.

An open Q & A, and discussion period will follow the presentation.
